Wheat & gluten Free wraps

 

This is out of the book “Wheat Belly” by William Davis, MD

I am hooked on them and absolutely do not have to use bread anymore.

I have modified themĀ  for size and taste, and I don’t use a microwave like he suggests

3 tbs ground flaxseeds (flax meal)

1/4 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp paprika

pinch of sea salt

Mix all these dry ingredients in a bowl.

Then in a separate bowl- beat up 1 egg pretty good.

add 1 tbs coconut oil (melted)

2 tbs water

Once it is nice and fluffy add it to the dry mixture and mix real good.

Let it stand for a couple minutes as theĀ  flax meal gets bigger.

I put it in a 10″ skillet on the stove on medium for a couple minutes each side.

It can sit on a rack a few minutes to dry or you can eat it right away.
